LUSC Competitive Program
LUSC competitive program is for players ages U-9 - U18 for both boys and girls respectively. This program is offered to players in Pinellas County and surrounding area.
The program has two aspects - developmental and competitive. This program is designed for the youth athlete who is serious about their development and reaching the fullest potential as a player. The goal is to help each player develop in an environment that is not only competitive but also rewarding. For our older players the goal is to help them to not only continue to develop as players but also to help prepare them for the move to high school and college. One of the goals competitive program is to help each player with the desire to play college soccer and to attain his/her goals.
At the younger age groups (U-9 - U-12) we have the Academy program. This program is where the foundation for any young player is built. The drive for each of our coaches and trainers is to provide an environment where learning the game is fun but never loosing focus on preparing each player to be able to make the jump to the next level. Each player will receive training that will encourage them to have confidence and the technical ability to enjoy continued success. Our trainers and coaches feel that no matter the age, players can begin to learn to play the game the right way. The goal for each player upon completion of the LUSC Academy Program (U-9 through U-12 age groups) is to be able to play with a strong technical ability and the ability to make the move to the U-13 and above age groups. |
