The Largo United Soccer Club Academy Training Program provides professional, age specific advanced training or U8 through U12. This very special program is designed to lay the foundation for the development of the player and club in the future. The Academy Training Program focuses on the complete development of each player. Through guided discovery teaching methods, the Academy staff challenges each player to creatively solve problems that only the games itself can provide.
The Academy Training philosophy is one of playing to learn. ATP staff is selected and trained to provide necessary instruction in an environment conducive to Learning and having Fun! Challenging training sessions conducted by the Academy staff are the key ingredient in the personal development of the players. Training activities are devised to help each player improve technically (skills), tactically (decision-making), physically (fitness), and psychologically (mental toughness).
